You’re a photographer, aren’t you? Not a professional per se, but if you have the internet and are reading this blog post then chances are you’re a photographer of some sort.
How? Well, you take pictures on your digital camera all the time. Think about it: chances are you have your own digital camera (or at least one on your cell phone). Go ahead and check. See all of those pictures? That was you!
Taking pictures with a digital camera makes things a whole lot easier than it used to be. You can take a picture and see how it turned out literally a second or two later on your camera/phone’s screen. If it wasn’t good enough, you could take another. And another. And another one if you felt like it.
Back in the day when we at Denevi opened our camera business (all the way back in 1959, 54 years ago!) you had to buy film for everything. You had a couple dozen shots per roll, maybe more, and that was it. No checking to see how each shot turned out ahead of time. And when it all ran out you had to switch the film out with a new roll while trying to not expose the film to sunlight, or your precious memories would be lost.
Not to mention that you had to go somewhere and pay to get the photos developed. Kind of a long and complicated process, huh? A bigger pain than getting digital photo prints, isn’t it?
