- Backup DVD kept on file for 1 year.
- A
50 ft. reel of film played back at 18 frames per second
is approximately 3.3 minutes long. 16 mm & Super 8 are
24 frames per second and approximately 2.9 minutes long.
- Panning
- short on and off bursts with a moving camera - gives the
impression that the film is playing back too fast.
- All
8 mm film is really 16 mm film cut in half. The first half
of the roll was exposed, then it was flipped over and the
second half was exposed. So, a 25-ft. 8 mm reel is really
50 ft. long at playback.
- Sound
film was commonly shot at 24 frames per second. There was
(No Industry) standard for sound film. Sound may not transfer
well.
-
Film transfer prices are based on footage, not running time.
50 ft film reels will be spliced onto a master 400 foot
reel.
- We
make our best effort not to transfer unexposed areas longer
than 5 to 10 seconds.
- All
movie reels must be numbered in the order to be transferred.
- You
must include a signed order form.
- All
original materials returned with order.
